Stronger Together
Stronger Together is a new card game designed to start conversations about community resilience.
When everyday life is challenging, it can be tricky to find the time or head space to think about how to prepare for – or respond to – an emergency that might happen in the future.
This game invites players to work together as neighbours on a typical street, deciding on preparations they can make to withstand a disaster; supporting each other, and using their resources and talents to recover more quickly.
Teams of up to eight people are led through the game by a digital narrator, accessible via a smart phone. We’ve tried to make the game a little light-hearted or fantastical in places, (the disasters are monsters that attack the neighbourhood for example).
The game takes around 30 minutes to play, with several questions posed at the end to help players think about their own lives, neighbourhoods and preparedness.
The digital narrator means that the game can be played without facilitation. To request a free copy of the game, please contact us by email: contact@blueheart.org.uk
