Hands of Care
I recently came across these incredible pictures taken by Ross Kernahan of our performance workshop, The Island. The Island was a participatory experience sparking conversations around our collective responsibility in the face of the climate crisis. What I love about these pictures is the clarity of the care you can see the hands are taking with the materials they are using. Collective care was a big part of the experience we wanted to foster, not only restricted to our human participants, and we were delighted to see how participants took to the crafting of their additions to The Island.
Creating playable experiences that encourage care & responsibility is an approach we are keen to continue to develop in response to the climate crisis.
Thanks to Ross for taking these beautiful pictures, and for all of those lovely hands for taking the time to craft with us.
